Wedding Day Survival Kit

It will be helpful to start packing these items before your wedding to take to the ceremony site.  It includes all those little odds and end that youʼll need for quick repairs and to cover the things that may be forgotten.

PERSONAL ITEMS

  • Make-up kit for light touch-ups
  • Hand mirror and make-up mirrors
  • Hair dryer, hairbrush and comb, hair spray
  • Deodorant/antiperspirant
  • Aspirin/Tylenol
  • Electric curlers or curling iron (if needed)
  • Bobby pins or combs to anchor veils and headpieces
  • Tampons and pads
  • Nail file, clear and colored nail polish and polish remover (if needed)
  • Perfume
  • Toothbrush and toothpaste, breath freshener
  • Dress shields, hem tape (scotch tape)
  • Safety pins of various sizes
  • Sewing kit (black, white and beige thread)


FOR THE BRIDE

  • Wedding gown, veil, shoes, jewelry, garter, slip, and hosiery
  • Extra nylons in the appropriate colors for both bride and bridesmaids
  • Going-away outfit
  • Smock or towels to protect dresses from make-up during last-minute touch-up
  • Gift for groom from bride


FOR THE GROOM

  • Extra socks (someone is bound to forget)
  • Tuxedo, shoes
  • Going-away outfit
  • Marriage license
  • Wedding rings
  • Gift for bride from groom
